Dayz update 1.49 is now rolling out on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Dayz 1.48 patch notes, the latest update resolves an issue where a player character would remain on the server too long in case of connection interruption. Apart from this, today’s Dayz patch 1.49 also includes server stability improvements.
Previously, a major Dayz update 1.20 added new Mime masks, Carnival masks, and much more. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing bugs with the game. Today’s Dayz PS4 version 1.49 will address a few of these issues.

Dayz Console Update 1.49 Patch Notes – March 1, 2023
- Players would teleport locally when they exited a vehicle while it was being simulated.
- Vehicle could fall through structures after a server restart.
- Fixed a desynchronization related to the placement system
- Adjusted several problematic ladders in Chernarus.
- It was possible to catch both types of fish at any water source
- Interactions with water were not possible at deeper levels.
- Melee finisher attacks were ruining vests and backpacks of infected.
- Weapons would become bugged when attempting to load bullets from a ruined magazine.
- The player camera could shake heavily when colliding with other entities.
- The 3rd person camera could clip with objects during vaulting.
- The camera shortly zoomed out and in when sprinting and turning from side to side.
